This piece was created for Marinka Price, a Cairns based hairdresser. It consists of 3 canvases (tripditch) which, when together, form a 3 metre wide artwork.

The image of the octopus represents Marinka - working on multiple tasks at once (as most hairdressers do) with her tools of trade. There are 6 pairs of scissors - representing the 6 days per week that the salon is open for trade .

The hand prints are those of Marinka's family plus David and his wife, Cindy.
